$ 1,000 Award Recipients: Each year, in honor of the late Ruth Corbin, the Morocco High School Alumni Association awards one $1,000 College Scholarship. Miss Corbin, as well as being a graduate of Morocco High School herself in 1916, returned to teach at MHS for her entire teaching career, even retiring there in her later years. She was highly revered and loved by a great majority of her students over the years. In honor of her past dedication to the Morocco High School, the Alumni Association provides this assistance to beginning college students. Eligibility Requirements: To be eligible to receive this Scholarship to the college of their choice, the student must be a relative of a Morocco High School Graduate and a student of North Newton High School. To apply for consideration to receive this award, students should complete an application available from their high school Counselor, or print out, complete and submit the form available here.
